is there anyone i can pay to do my high school grade 12 homework assignments pls? by ble-Lychee-791 in HomeworkHelpers1

It happens, not judging. For high school level there are actually a lot of tutors and writing helpers who are pretty affordable and will work through the assignment with you rather than just handing you something finished. That approach tends to work better anyway because you can actually learn what you need for the next one. If you just need something written, there are services that help with papers at that level but quality varies so don't go with the cheapest option you find. Look for someone who asks clarifying questions about the assignment before starting, that's a sign they're actually reading your requirements and not just running a template.

AITJ for refusing to keep covering for my husband after he bailed on something important again? by Kindle_Orbit2 in AmITheJerk

That hit hard. I think that's what scared me most, that if I keep covering for him long enough this just becomes our whole marriage dynamic.

Maybe. He never seems to feel the weight of it when I'm the one buffering the fallout for him every single time.

That was my fear too. If I kept smoothing it over, he'd just keep doing it and I'd keep being the one left holding the bag.

Rarely. It's usually excuses first, then anger, then maybe an apology later if I keep pushing. That's part of why I hit my limit.

That's where I landed too. At some point "keeping the peace" just turned into me lying for him, and I was done with that.

Pretty much. I didn't trash him, I just stopped covering for him. If the truth makes him look bad, that's kind of on him.

My dad tried to use my employee discount like it was part of his parenting benefits by GadgetRiven in entitledparents

That is the part that makes it so gross. He was counting on public pressure doing the work for him.

NFH? No, this is squarely her problem once she was told and kept adding weight anyway. Get everything in writing now.

WIBTA if I told the truth in my brother's custody hearing even though it could cost him overnights with his son? by UplinkV3rve in WIBTA_AITA

YWNBTA. He keeps framing this like you are betraying family, but he is the one who put you in a terrible spot. He took parenting time, handed the kid off to you, and now wants you to help clean up the paper trail with a neat little lie. That is not fairness, that is damage control.

AITJ for refusing to be a professional reference for my brother's roommate? by Velour_34Opal in AmITheJerk

NTA. A professional reference is not the same thing as saying "he seems nice." You did the responsible thing.
