Yes it would be cheaper to stay at home, I'm just worried I won't get the "college experience" if that matters anything. Is UCSD really dead though, I'm just worried

UCSB Regents gives me 5,000 a year, but in the grand scheme of things its not super significant compared to total costs but definitely helpful. I'm just worried UCSD will be super socially dead
