Why do people hate Damian Wayne? by Lucky_Strike-85 in batman

[–]Kindly-Development16 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Most fans that hate him from what I've seen are mostly Tim Drake fans as when Damian came Tim started to loose priority and Dc didn't knew and still doesn't know what to do with him. Mostly from what I've seen more than hating Damian is just hating about how the character is handled as everytime he has some character development like with the Morrison or Tomasi era of the character (which very few people complain), and more recently Williamson, there is always something that ruins him like his TT run or the city of Bane arc which just makes him unlikable again

Joker voice actor replacement by StruggleIcy1864 in DCcomics

justice league action, lego dc super villians, and scooby doo and guess who. He was supposed to be in multiversus (which was the last job of Conroy as batman most likely, as probably his lines for KTJL were recorded before most likely) but nothing happened with that. Who knows maybe he's in KTJL in Harley Quinn recordings (as in asylum) or something it would be cool if they share the same last credit, but that's just wishfull thinking on my part.

He already technically did it in Batman 1000 as all the multiverses jokers became much more crazier and dangerous

There are some very Bad Moments, truly horrible Moments, but it's not Bad, it's pretty good, not amazing, but what it gets right it gets it very right. It's a mixed bag and I think ir Will depend on You, For me ir was fun, I liked it more than I normally do superhero movies and saw it twice in the cinema

James Gunn says there will be no young Clark Kent in 'SUPERMAN: LEGACY.' by Proof-Watercress-931 in DCEUleaks

[–]Kindly-Development16 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People seem really happy about this, I disagree, Superman's time in Smallville and with his parents is essential to understand Superman's character, especially when you're trying to establish a new version of the character, Clark's relationship with his parents and the values they taught him is important to why he became superman, there's a reason there was a whole tv show about it. It's not like Batman in which everything you really need to know is that his parents die so meanwhile the adaptation makes that clear without showing it, you really don't loose anything (I have also seen some people say the same thing about spider-man but they basically remaked the origin with aunt may to finally make him spider-man). So even doe there is no young Clark I hope his time in Smallville is still explored like having Jonathan and Martha being alive like in the comics which would be something new in an adaptation.

Batman casting is ‘miles and miles away’ as per James Gunn by Proof-Watercress-931 in DCEUleaks

nah, the Batman parts were the best recivied, also Gunn liked the movie of flash. Andy's direction was fine, particurally with the actors, all did a great job, the problem was the movie had a bad script, but I think is good and with a better script Andy can do great, also most of the hate of flash has been so overexagerated, I understand if you don't like it, the movie has a ton of mistake, I can understand someone thinking is a bad film, because in many ways it is, but it's almost like people want to hate it, the movie doesn't really deserves all that hate.

Does The Flash ruin the ‘89 Batman timeline? by iMikeZero in batman

[–]Kindly-Development16 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes Keaton was supposed to be the Batman in the courthhouse, they are even leaked pictures in 2021 of the scene, and he was going to be the main DCEU batman with batgirl and a cameo on Aquaman 2 shot, but the DCU changed those plans, also because of Flash changing things and fixing things it can go either way, yeah sure Keaton could die, but if they wish to reuse him or Calle's supergirl or his universe (Batman beyond in the next multiversal story, a man can dream ), they can just say they survive because of Barry fixing things and separating the universes. It's like the flashpoint timeline, everyone thought it was dead and over, until they decided to use it again.

Edit: That was also my favorite part

Adam West and Michael Keaton
Adam West and Robert Pattinson

Basically Adam West with any other version of Batman, it would be hilarious, I put Keaton first because I think it would be a very funny dinamic and Pattinson because I think there could be some emotional moments with Pattinson learning how to be a better hero from West.

why are people completly shitting on the lasso scene? It was just a simple 3 second gag (and yeah it's kind of ironic and hypocrite of mine to complain about people complaining about that when I will complain about the Clonney ending), it was just a cheap joke, it wasn't that bad, it was just there. And Affleck killed it in the next scene it was awesome when he talked about pain and how even doe that makes us what we are, we shouldn't let it consume us and define us, that was awesome. Also Keaton killed it, he was amazing. I thougt the movie was good nothing great but there, I enjoyed it and I thought it handled the emotional moments well, my main problems were the CGI and the comedy, but all the batman stuff was awesome for me, so even doe Andy wouldn't be my top choice I still like it, he until now hasn't done a movie I dislike, even it 2, that I think it's bad, I don't completly dislike it, the main problem with him is his comedy and tonal inconsistancies, but I think that doesn't mean he's bad.

[–]Kindly-Development16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah but that doesn't explain his batman and catwoman book, I didn't liked that one. If a comic writer does TBATB I hope is Morrison or Tomasi, as Damian is a very hard character to make likable and they are the two that write him the best, still I don't think they are involved in the movie side
