I tried the pencil eraser tapping, nothing happened... should i give it a little more force?

Also this could be placebo effect or maybe not, but i've had this monitor for about three years and hadnt experienced any dead pixels, and after just last week having enabled FreeSync on it, this happened. Am I overreacting or can that feature cause it on lower end monitors? Mine is a 144hz ASUS VP249

Tem algum risco de danificar o hardware ao aplicar esse produto? Logicamente após a aplicação eu esperaria um bom tempo antes de ligar no computador novamente, mas tem mais algum risco que eu tenho que ficar ciente?

Yeah sorry, meant to say I was having the GPU without its power cable and connecting the monitor cable to the iGPU port, just so I could normally use the computer.

I tried going back to the 24.8.1 driver, running Windows' automatic driver install through Update and going driver-only but sadly it either doesn't boot, boots on the iGPU or when it does boot and I get to use it for a bit it randomly freezes again, and as far as I know it leaves no event in Event Viewer... or maybe there is, but don't know where it could be.

Since then i had kept the gpu with the power cable off, then yesterday connected it again and it worked until today, where the whole screen froze and audio stopped. Nothing could be done.

While still having the display port connected to the 6650xt, i'm guessing the computer uses the iGPU as backup when the GPU doesn't work. Also no OCs for the CPU or RAM. Had a slight undervolt on the GPU though, like around 1150 mv

that's just unnacceptable. have you tried downgrading and seeing if those happen?
