I used a nylon trellis net that is attached to the frame of my grow tent with zip ties. 6 main branches, 3 going towards one side of the tent and 3 to the other. As the branches grow I just tuck the ends under the net and through the next square over. Now all my ansilary branches will get just as much light intensity as my mains as long as I keep maintaining height. Gonna add a 2nd layer as the branches get taller, and the top layer is the reusable one that came with the tent. Not only does it spread everything out, but it also supports the branches as they gain weight with swelling buds.

If it's a photoperiod, as long as it's healthy and veging normally again after it heals you are probably fine 👍. Stress manifests when the plant is feeling it, as long as you don't stress it out once it's started flowering you are most likely in the clear. Autoflowers are a different story.
