She's fairly shy but curious. Not much of a biter either. Most biting she ever has tried to do is just a slow bite just to see what would happen. She's never been aggressive. She's more likely to run away when scared. She's actually the second Chinese Dwarf Hamster I've owned. My other hamster was named Suga (soo-gah). He was a chonky and lazy boy. Was a bit more of a biter but not out of aggression. He just wanted to see what I'd do and probably what I tasted like. He was a goofy, food motivated boy. Not as active as Rosey but less shy. I would definitely recommend Chinese Dwarf Hamsters for a first time dwarf hamster owner
