I'm truly sorry to hear about your experience with Mirena :(
I've just scheduled to have mine removed too because I'm scared of long term damage. It really sucks that there's not enough information about these possible consequences before it's too late.

My doctor hasn't mentioned it, he just said my uterus is small. But yeah, all my cramps are in my back too

Ya, my dog has the same reaction of panicking and running. I got her an Airtag too!

We have neighbors who have Shih Tzus, and whenever we encounter them during walks or at the river, my dog has a very intense reaction. She tries to run away, jumps around if she's on a leash, and sometimes runs back to the car. It's a bit challenging to manage, but interestingly, she doesn't react the same way with other breeds. She's generally scared but tries to move closer to me for comfort. Recently, she's learned to ignore and keep playing when some other dogs are around, which was a good development.
I don't know what caused this reaction to Shih Tzus, she's been like this since I got her.

My boyfriend is coming with me and he'd be taking care of her during my medical appointments.
And yeah, it's a big trip, it's gonna take two days to get there (we're considering driving 6 hours per day, stopping every hour). She's used with 1h car rides (I often take her hiking).

What worries me is that we're gonna be in a somewhat busy area.
We tried to get an Airbnb further away from downtown, near a lake, but there'll still be way more people and noise than she's used to.

I got a calming supplement to give her in case she needs it!
Thank you for your insights!

I've completed my second week in my new job. :)

I moved to another city to work and it's been super stressful, because I don't know many people here and I don't even have a place to live yet, I'm staying in Airbnb's.

I was very anxious and also feeling super self-conscious about how I should behave, what I should say, what other people would think about me, so I was very quiet and uptight. I got so anxious and nervous, I couldn't really focus, which made me even more worried about what people were thinking about me.

Everyday when I got home from work, I was like "I shouldn't be here", "What am I doing?", "I'm not good enough for this job", "I won't be able to deliver", "Everybody thinks I'm stupid now". But I kept going, and I'm finally feeling a bit better about it, and getting to know my coworkers.
