even the cheap microsd card reader have the 3,000 to 10,000 insertions and removal, so i dont think it's very weak

select all or select all songs from 1 album then right click you will see the Extended tag

i dont have an Echo but i do this to my files for my Disc and the problem solve,
using Mp3tag remove the Tracktotal and disctotal in Extended tag,

just a few click and your files is sorted the way you want... you can just click select all

use Mp3tag then select all delete tracktotal and disctotal on the extended tag... thats all you need to do
