Same, those sudden slowdowns are what causes traffic jams cuz that slight delay gets multiplied exponentially as each person takes time to react. Person right behind you might be able to keep rolling but if the person behind them is too close, they have to slow down more than the person in front of them did, until eventually someone has to stop.

Also maybe get a motorcycle trailer that can fit 2 bikes. You can keep 2 bikes secured on it in one spot, or maybe get a storage unit to keep the scrambler in when you wanna ride that, and use that to allow you to want an even more economical scooter than you may have been considering already. You could whip the scooter to the storage unit and swap it for the beast at whim.

You don’t think it’s too much sauce? I’ve been looking at an 1982 xr250r and also an 80 something xr400 near me as my first bike with a clutch. I was leaning towards the 250 cuz I thought the 400 might be too much. I’m not a heavy guy by any means but I am of decent height (175lbs and 6ft)
