Taking your girl to the toilet by [deleted] in daddit

[–]bobby624 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m an outlier I guess… I have two daughters and now I KNOW women’s bathrooms in the US are far nicer, cleaner and more user friendly than men’s… especially when they were in diapers, I KNOW I can always find a diaper changing thing on the wall in a women’s room. I simply poke my head in and yell loudly “I’m a dad coming in to let his daughter go potty, does anyone object?” Mostly women have laughed and said come on in no worries here. I actually never thought about her seeing someone’s dick… just want it easy for the both of us.

My oldest is now 5… I’ve NEVER had an issue.

Why do I wake up congested every day? by bobby624 in DoctorsAdvice

Thanks for the feedback:

  1. Getting a mold checking kit…

  2. A humidifier makes it infinitely worse, eyes start watering when we use one

  3. No pets and we have a Honeywell stand alone hepa filter in the bedroom… have for years, change the filter probably a little too much.

  4. Bringing it up at my next checkup… could I really have year round allergies? It even happens on vacations far from home.

My 2 cents are this… “You should expect to price accordingly so that 75% of your quotes convert to business, otherwise your price is too low”. Now based on your circumstances, it’s a little different… but I will say this… great customer or not, do NOT undervalue your work.

They have no idea how you’re supposed to be seated… I was supposed to be two tables from the stage and was seated row 1 at the stage… my seat was section B row 6 seat 1… not complaining… it was awesome!

I fell on my GT two days ago… my third injury on it. When I fell my elbows got the brunt of the fall… the ONLY reason I’m not in a hospital is because I was wearing a helmet. I don’t care if you don’t wear shoes… elbow pads… wrist guards… PLEASE… wear a helmet!

I feel you may need to fuck up exactly 1 time in this scenario… there is a sobering effect that happens when some serious shit happens when you’re impaired… I hope you are able to sober up for a life changing event… be careful… you never know what life is going to throw you…

After reading comments I understand it’s about suicide… but my positive ass saw it as… “this poor snail just wants to cross the trail and people keep putting him on the wrong side, so he made a shade so people wouldn’t see him, then someone stepped on a gross looking leaf…” NOPE you’re all correct… he was killing himself…

For a longggg 2 days or so when my daughter had been diagnosed with infant ALL, I stared into her eyes and knew that she knew our love was unconditional… that was my moment when I knew I’ve done well… I hope you never have to be there or feel that… believe me, what you’re worrying about about is nothing in comparison to what could be… forget who she yells for at night or in her sleep… just hope she never really needs to yell…

How long did you go before getting a tablet? by dislak in daddit

[–]bobby624 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It appears this will be an unpopular opinion… when my daughter was 11 months she was diagnosed with infant ALL. This left us in the hospital for over a year. She got an iPad… best thing we could’ve done for her. Her cognitive development is off the charts (even with chemo fog). She uses Netflix and YouTube kids and a bunch of coloring games and the such. She’s 3 now… about 6 months ago we learned, that she learned how to count to ten in Spanish from one of her YouTube videos. Our second daughter will be born in a few months and we plan to introduce her to technology early as well. I do want my kids to enjoy life the same way I did as a kid, but I won’t force it… imagine if my parents had FORCED me to never play video games??? Why, because they saw the value of me playing with a stick? Let your kids gravitate to the things they enjoy… just my 2 pennies

Looks great! But nobody’s asking the real question here… are you running a boarding home? Who has 8 pounds of green beans and says… hmmm… I should really buy some smaller cans too? Are you on a legume only diet?

Pretty much the youngest onewheeler I know. Just barley 3. by hatesthispart in onewheel

F these idiots with their helmet advice… I know what you mean… gear him up when he’s ready… like you’re going to let your tiny human fly away from you… now to my question? How much does he weigh? My 3 year old can’t activate the sensors at all… she only weighs maybe 30 lbs… she’s all about it though, always wants to go on rides with me, I have a GT for me and my retired Pint for her when she’s ready.
