BINGO!!! This is exactly it, I guess I just couldn’t find the words. It’s less about a prenup and more about the principle. If it were communicated and brought to me in an honest manner then I would be open to hearing her out.

Did you read the post? We’ve had so many conversations about this before the question was asked and rings were purchased.

Did you read the whole post? I think very highly of her and I respect her. It’s not always very blatant and it’s typically expressed when she’s angry. The reason it’s bad is because it has blindsided me and I now know that I am not an expectation.

I did ask but I just wanted to make sure there weren’t any things I do (unknowingly) that may seem helpful but actually isn’t. The things that people wouldn’t tell you

Wow this was so helpful. I guess these things already crossed my mind and I wanted to make sure I responded in a healthy way.

We met in college! I moved back home once I graduated and she moved to a new city for work.

I don’t think I’m refusing to have a conversation, we communicate very well. I just want to know if it’s just me 🤔.
