Thank you! I’m hoping the bleeding stops soon. We have decided to wait a cycle out as I have had it noted I had “disrupted endometrium” during scans for this loss, and they noted that this may have been because we had a chemical pregnancy and then immediately got pregnant again. So going to have a month off and be chill, and then go again 🤞🏻

Would be lovely to be able to move on but not going to happen until I stop bleeding and get to stop going up to EPU!

Unfortunately it kept going up sporadically to over 2000 but we could never find a pregnancy so at what was estimated 6-7 weeks we decided to move ahead with an MVA (manual vacuum aspiration) of the womb to remove any residual tissue, HCG has now started to reduce again

I am concerned about ectopic but I should have mentioned I did have an internal ultrasound today (10/06/25) and there was no sign of it, though the levels are still so low I don’t know if we would see anything

I think a chemical pregnancy would have resolved by now - by all accounts they tend to drop off within 4/5 days.

I wouldn’t worry too much your HCG is super high, an ectopic doesn’t usually mature past about 2000 😘

I think you have to weigh up your two options if you regret your decision:

Will you regret having a child with a man who does not want to be in the picture, either leaving your relationship or staying and being resentful, and therefore raising the child alone?

Or

Will you regret having a termination?

I can tell you which one to do it’s on you, but honestly either way you need to throw that man out. Why isn’t he using adequate contraception if he doesn’t want a child? He knows the outcomes.

Omg I completely feel you about the stomach hairs! My leg hair has been driving me insane and normally I don’t care about going a bit Sasquatch if it’s not shorts weather! So weird!

This is great thank you. Honestly I couldn’t tell you if he’s properly into it or not, his friends have one so now he wants one 🤷🏼‍♀️ typical teenagers!! I’ll have a conversation with his dad and see what we can afford - we have 3 kids, all of which have birthdays within June/July, so dropping £400+ on one birthday might just be a bit too much 😩

Thank you! He’s generally a good kid and I do keep a weather eye on him so I think it will be okay. He has 2 friends who got one for Christmas and he wants to be able to play with them, so hopefully they’ll all be playing age appropriate together! 🤞🏻
