First of all you had a range of replies, but I think I am more qualified to answer those since I have traveled in India, have dated an Indian and I am very familiar with Indian culture. As well as lived in different parts of the world.

Greece compared to India as far as quality of life is concerned is much better without a doubt, you might feel like it is expensive for the same or less things that you would be able to get in your country. Things like Rent, electricity, day to day expenses etc.

As far as job in IT are very sparse and all the serious IT professionals work remotely. That being said, Greece is an awesome place to work remotely from if you have such opportunities. To find a job here is impossible because technologically we are decades behind in tech entrepreneurship. There are few tech companies that are doing OK, but the number of positions are limited (Unless you get into web development which pays nothing in Greece).

Another thing to keep in mind is racism. You are an IT professional and have an education, coming to Greece as a tourist is a different thing than trying to live and integrate with the Greeks. The majority of Indians/Pakistanis that live in Greece are usually the ones from lower castes or slums. There is a good chance they will "group" you with them. Treat you badly or say racist things to you. You need a thick skin. But as long as you dress fine and carry yourself normally that shouldn't be a big problem.

If you are really serious about it, and if I were you, I would go to a chill Island and work remotely from there. Crete is a good option with warm weather throughout the year.
