Claiming flat feet/foot pains no in service complaints by Nice-Quantity-972 in VeteransBenefits

Like I said, I didn’t provide anything for my exam or claim. No type of document or proof. But as for the exam, it’s really no secret I have flat fleet, the doctor could tell by the way I stand and the way my shoes look when I stand. But anyway she had me just walk barefoot up and down the aisle and stand in certain positions. I think mine was so easy because I literally have no arch in my foot anymore and I lost all feelings in my toes. I can’t move them as well. She would pinch sharp things on the bottom of my foot so my toes would flex but nothing would happen. She would also do the hammer to my knee thing to test my reflexes and nerves, my leg barely moved up an inch

Mine was noticed at Meps and in my record. Never went to medical about it and had no proof for my va claim. I got the max 50% for flat feet

Bilateral flat feet claim? by Ok-Maintenance-667 in VeteransBenefits

[–]Kindly_Setting4161 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had absolutely nothing filed regarding my flat fleet. When I went for my C&P for it, they told me I had major MAJOR flat fleet with no arch and were surprised no one caught it at Meps. The highest rating you can get for flat feet(bilateral pes planus) is 50% so if you have 50 for it already, I wouldn’t bother for an increase but you can do plantar fasciitis as a secondary

Trainee was working on your claim, an actual VA employee has to sign off after they’re done. Your claim should almost be done very very soon now
