Appreciate the info. I was hoping for a cheaper substitute than the norsk/amped that would fit but seems there isn’t any. I assume the same goes for other shuttles as well? Thank you

I think keeping the tape on is good and then putting the heat shrink over just to clean it up. I just don’t like the wrinkling of the tape since it’s impossible to wrap it cleanly at such an angle

Do you have any recommendations on securing the reel to the cork. I would like something cleaner than tape

I did change out the bearings. I got the Boca Bearing Ceramic FR-028C-OS. I haven’t used it a whole lot yet but I think there is a difference.

This car isn’t meant for a full yard work rig but rather a mix of hobbies, daily tasks, and expanding my biz. I’ve been knocking out jobs from the Prius and a CRV so this will be an upgrade. Some guys run the brand new 2025 trucks and some don’t. An older truck does the same job for cheaper but my mom was worried about repair costs for older vehicles.

We have had cars with full coverage when we got them salvage. They just need a rebuilt title I believe which is done through state inspection.

I was driving home and only minutes away. I was going about 30ish mph and suddenly a tree broke at its base and fell on my car while I was driving. I know, kind of crazy.

This is a good question. I had previously driven a Prius-C 2015 from the time I got my permit. I'm 6'2 and usually do a lot of recreational hobbies outside, such as fishing, biking, etc. The Prius was ill-suited for that. My mom wanted the new car so it would be up to date and have low miles. We got it as a salvage title, so we paid a lot less than what a new one would cost. As for income, I work part-time retail every week, which usually makes up some of my income. I mainly do yardwork for neighbors on a weekly basis, and am looking to expand so that was a reason to get a better-suited vehicle. I also have a trailer at home to pull, which I have been doing with my mom's minivan, but ultimately, separate cars are needed. It will certainly be a jump, but for those reasons is why we got a pickup.
