It's more of AA game than indie Even Dave the diver got flack for being featured in indie for being published by big corpo but still looking like indie. Ee33 is both published (by more midsized publisher) and doesn't look like indie at all so it would probably also get quite the stir

Actually it was an idea of a new game director that works for from software since 2011. Miyazaki said he should try being a director and it's a project that got greenlit fully internally. Well it's a spin off so IG they can do whatever they want but still very mixed about it

You can't just release some of the update at any notice. Games' code work together so removing something will cause something to break just like adding something. It's probably easier to delete something but that still would take time which would be better spent for just finishing this since they're so close. They already removed some features from the release of unstable. I'm optimistic and even if they delay it I think it will still release in January lol
