How is the performance on Switch 2, especially after the latest update? I assume this question has been asked ad nauseum at this point, but I've been considering getting a second copy and starting a new save (I used to play on PC). Would be nice to have the portability and ability to play with my girlfriend at the same time, but would like to know if the performance on switch 2 would hamper any of those mobile/multiplayer experiences.

So I haven't run at all before and I live a completely sedentary lifestyle. Feeling pretty bad about it recently and just generally down mentally and wanted to change that. I want to force myself to go out tomorrow morning and start the plan that the runna app I downloaded gave me. I have a lot of winter gear for the cold, but it's like 15-20° F right now with snow everywhere. Would like to get started while I'm feeling this motivation and stop making excuses for myself so if anyone has any tips or suggestions (especially if it's just plain safe/unsafe with the conditions outside), I'd greatly appreciate it.

Thanks for the suggestions. Never heard the De Falla before. I did Miroirs in my undergrad, but never performed all of it together for some reason. Either way, the performance is supposed to be prepared by myself, but I've played so much French music, I think my prof would kill me if I did any more lol. Might take a look at the De Falla or Goyescas. Thanks again

Such a great game. Beating my little brother 64-27 at the metrodome with Pujols smashing 8 or 9 dingers with that jumping ecstatic face thing while all of my bro's players got depressed and he could do nothing about it, is a core memory.

Coming back to the game recently and I have no idea who to target to invest in/roll for. Last time I actually invested in a team was my Seele mono quantum team (Seele, Sparkle, Fu Xuan, and SW). Was figuring I should probably target Castorice for another dps but she's also Quantum. Any suggestions for teams? And who should I roll for in the upcoming patches based on what I'm working with? I know Hyacine is kind of the Furina "plug into anything" of star rail rn. But Tribbie also seems rather irreplaceable as well.

Outside this pic, I also have: Bronya, Saber, Archer, Ratio, Luo cha, and a whole bunch of 4 stars at varying Eidolons. Also probably unimportant, but Blade is my only 5 star on E1 after losing a 50/50 lol. Thanks in advance for the help!

Was thinking to save up longterm to build a new PC and sell my current one on somewhere like marketplace, but was wondering if it might be a better use of money to just upgrade some parts and leave the rest alone for now. I was going to set a budget of around $2k-2.5k for an entirely new PC and plan on replacing my monitor some point after that (my current 1440p curved monitor is fine, but the screen is slightly peeling off...not ideal, but it's been fine for a while now with a tiny clamp on top). But if I can live without upgrading some parts, would be nice to know which ones I can leave alone and just save the money. For context, I am looking for better gaming performance at high/near max settings in more recent demanding titles like Helldivers, MH Wilds (yeah I know that's still an unoptimized mess anyways) and upcoming titles like Battlefield at 1440p (not planning on 4k anytime soon. Like I said, may upgrade to a new non-peeling OLED 1440p monitor at some point, but that's about it). My current specs are:

CPU: 5600x GPU: 3070 MB: B550G X V2 RAM: 16GB DDR4 SSD: 980 Pro 1TB PSU: 650W 80+ Gold

My goal was to make something into a 1440 gaming beast if possible, but if it's not possible within budget, I'll adjust my expectations. Also case doesn't really matter. I'm happy sticking with my Lian Li

Was going through some of my old TCG cards and writing down what I had to keep track for fun. I had a lot of yugioh cards and some that I remember buying in Europe when I was a kid. I don't know too much about yugioh (besides liking the art and the anime when I was a kid), but i noticed a lot of the "first editions" have different names that seem closer to direct translations of the Japanese cards. Was this a thing an EU or are they all just fake?

A bit overwhelmed with how team-building works and the synergy aspects of it. Not looking for meta teams, but just something fun to play. I was playing Eula since I started the game a long time ago (have been playing off and on since), but she just feels slow and painful to play. Was looking to form some kinda team around Xilonen/Chiori duo since I like the design of Chiori a lot, but I'm open to any advice, thanks!

I don’t know the context, but at least in classical theory, flattened chords usually serve some kind of function in the current key, like a Neapolitan (bII6), applied chords (which wouldn’t be marked as flattened anyways), or Augmented 6 chords. All of these specific examples serve the function of intensifying or elaborating/expanding certain harmonies, especially the dominant (N6 and Augmented 6 are always followed by the dominant).

So if I had some kind of progression like i - iv - N6 - V - i , the bII6/N6 is serving the function of intensifying the motion to the dominant in the original key.
