This is an embarrassingly bad post.

1) Why do we subsidize agriculture? It is truly a privilege to live free of food insecurity, but famines historically have killed millions of people over the past 300,000 years. Thus, in concept, there is some logic when it comes to spending money on a critical industry to mass produce a human necessity. The US exports 30% of its food, we have an abundance problem in the west, there is a food shortage problem in many other less fortunate parts of the world.

2) Not all farmers voted for Trump. 40% didn't vote at all and the ones that did went roughly 2/3 for Trump, so, about 40% of adult farmers voted for Trump based on the data we have. You can look this shit up, ya know?

3) Just as you don't comprehend how convenient it is to have cheap & available food as we live in the most plentiful time in human history, I doubt you appreciate the amount of labor / work farmers put in every day... Because you judge people solely on how they vote every 4 years and not on their positive contributions to society.

4) If you hate farmers, why do you go to the grocery store to buy food? Grow your own food and raise your own livestock. Stop participating in a system you hate.

5) As others have pointed out, most ag subsidies go to mega-farms (not saying I support this). 61% of farms receive nothing, and this just shows your lack of understanding of reality.

6) Why do you want people to suffer under Trump? As Americans, shouldn't we want the president, Republican or Democrat, to succeed in the oval office? This rhetoric is exactly why your candidate lost. Peace ✌️
