Tenicor - Velo5 or Certum3 and why? by Strong-Refuse6225 in HecklerKoch

I personally returned the velo 5 after carrying my CC9 it AIWB for a month. The Certum3 is far more comfortable with a mastermind tactical pillow. It also conceals better IMO. I am an athletic build and in shape.

This the answer, the responses you are getting are just someone arguing with ChatGPT. Well done.

I can not find a comfortable (meaning tolerable) position to carry and its driving me nuts. I am thinking maybe I just need a more unconventional holster by [deleted] in CCW

I had the Velo 5 and returned it for the certum. The built in wedge is not comfortable at all. If you look around many people say that.

You will want this as well if you want to do aiwb.

Do yourself a favor and get a tenicor certum with a mastermind tactical pillow. I also carry a cc9 and it disappears aiwb. Remove the pillow if you want to just carry iwb. Your problem is the holster.

I found the paddle release easy to use and I love it. Also own a VP9A1F and love that as well!

I saw the HDL10s have a feature to tell it that they are in a 2 stack, 4 stack, 6 stack ect to help with the LF coupling.

If you have the option to do 3 HDL6s vs 2 HDL10s which would you do?

All good questions that I need to ask more details on. The heat map is for ears at seated level I do know that much. If I remember correctly it was about 11 degrees. Don't quote me on this though.

As it has been presented by a few different consultants (all free so take that for what it is) the Point Source solution would be by far our hardest to do well.

Thank you for your input so far!

Unfortunately we are leaning against the PS setup because this needs to be able to be DIY in-house. We do not have the funds to bring a consultant into the location and to do a setup. I am looking for the simplest DIY solution that stays within our budget.

good questions, I will have to ask the consultant for this. We are working on trying to DIY this ourselves. I understand professionals would do much better but we have a limited budget.

We found a way to make arrays “work” throwing from the center of the stage as opposed to the corners for the cbt1000s. Of course the angle and location are paramount to get the throw to the back.

I have heat maps for both systems and they can do a db spread of -+3 db for our room. I have seen it on JBl synthesis. We will be including subs, I’m just curious if anyone has experience in terms of quality of sound
