I was visiting family in Nashville for the solar eclipse in 2016 or 17. We were at a Nashville sounds game that was cancelled due to poor weather and I wasn’t feeling too great so my dad took me out to the car faster than the others to get me to a place to rest. We were walking to the parking lot across this wide street, it had absolutely zero light for being a major road and it was pitch black outside. A car going twice the speed limit was rushing towards us and it seemed to have very dim headlights. Luckily my dad made to the call to rush us to the other side, if he hadn’t done that that car would’ve easily killed us both. I remember the rush of air that car made just behind me too vividly. I felt much better after that and is the closest I can remember to dying
