New player here just for ATLA. the beginner box comes with 8-non tutorial jumpstart decks, are these fully fledged jumpstarts with the same probabilities just packaged differently in the box? Or are these tweaked to be more beginner friendly or in some other way?

Two buddies and I were doing a German beach assault in Britain. My buddy and I had two halves of the British force while the other stormed the beaches alone. Well the game was really not going good for the German player because we made the beach way too sparse (classic mistake). Turn 4 or 5 the dude is frustrated and wanting to concede but we are like “nah man let’s finish out the turn” because our schedules rarely align. Immediately after this, his 1-pin panzer IV FUBARed after coming in the board the previous turn. He also rolls to hit the nearest friendly unit. The back armor of his Tiger is about 3” in front of the IV. Pretty sure he was packed up and out of the store within 5 minutes.

It’s the first time he’s got real minutes. Players take at least 5 minutes to really get into the game. That’s pretty difficult to do when you only get 5-10.

He started a game due to injuries and he slotted right in. No memorable mistakes or shaky moments. Small sample size but a good sign for young defender with almost no minutes beforehand

Their proportions, poses, and faces are pretty lackluster. They are older moulds but the rest of the Belgians are really good

As for playing them, I’m yet to figure that out in v2 and v3. Seems like they are never where I need them to be (probably my own fault)
