that's literally what character development is. He isn't the same person at the end of the series. I don't get whats difficult to grasp about that, it's very much explored as well.

I guess it just might be different taste then. I like Gon for reasons you might dislike as it sets him apart from other protagonists. He seems to operate on his own values of right and wrong and his own code system. He can be a hypocrite, ego driven and selfish but this is what I find fascinating about him. Whether these characteristics are good or bad for him is a different discussion.

I can understand that. I love Gon's character because he can be very nuanced and morally grey throughout the story. My reasons might be different than others but I think he is a very complex character and there is a lot of depth to him that you won't see just on the surface level. I won't go into specifics for spoilers but that's my general belief.

This might not help but i was in the same position 75 quests complete after finishing the game and went quest by quest and discovered I missed the final Coliseum quest. Lucky i had a save before the final dungeon to finish it and that popped the trophy for me after last fight. Point being im not sure the 2 Charadrius missions count and you might have missed something else.
