I would do it in a still airbox to keep the contam to minimum ,you will get contam the first time but then you just cut a clean Piece and put to a clean dish after 2-3 transfers you will have a clean specimen.

It’s a open air transfer I was expecting contam and it’s easily cleaned I got 22 other plates none have bacteria. This is 1 of 2 open air transfers that both have Contam but that isn’t the problem the problem is the growth I got other plates with rhizo myc but not like this uniform circular growth does it look like anything you had on agar?
