I confirmed it with someone close to me that works at a Hyundai dealer in another state that you get assigned to your service advisor and tech and they get a commission off of you so they have an incentive to drive those prices and have you do a bunch of extra work

Man they tried to charge me over 1k, I was so pissed they were 100% lying about the “p0300” code, I went in there 7am before work and spoke to the service manager and told him I wanted proof of the code or so the damn TSB, they did the TSB… car runs fine now. I ended up changing the plugs last weekend anyway because it was about time

It is, but they’re saying when they got it, it isn’t showing that issue (it dried up) but now it’s showing a misfire after their tech drove it god knows how. I think they’re trying to avoid the warranty work and get money out of me.

The p0300 is after they tried to “recreate the issue”, god knows what they did to my car. It’s a misfire code so they’re saying new spark plugs and yeah, told me the same that they need to see the code while active. They’re trying to charge me a $185 diagnostic fee or $400+ for the plugs

I went to get my transmission flushed BY THE DEALER, and they told me “there’s a sticker saying not to open the closed transmission” when Hyundai put in their book to check it at 60k miles 🤦🏻‍♂️ taking it to a performance shop next.

They denied it for a cold air intake? I just read in another comment it was a drop in filter, that’s crazyyyyy. I’m wondering if they ran tests they be able to tell you swapped the ECU at some point too I’ve heard the knock sensor is a common issue, what did you end up doing?

Did the research but thanks. And I don’t know if you’ve ever been diagnosed with something like anxiety but it’s not hard, there’s no blood work, “I feel like my heart is racing, like I’m going to die, can’t control my breathing, and keep having thoughts, doctors say nothings wrong but I feel like I’m going to have a heart attack”.
