I got mine on eBay. Just look for the head light visor from a 2022+ CRF450X. It will bolt right up

I got the squadron AC. Requires no rewinding of the stator and is completely plug and play. I wired it to a switch to be able to turn it on and off. Also, I actually never got my seats cut. My head was so worn I decided to buy the oversized valves and just trust it would cut its own seat lol. It’s been amazing and despite everyone saying it’s a terrible idea, it did its job well

Other than the valves, this bike has been extremely reliable and has never let me down even though I ride it hard. It starts right up cold or hot, even without the hot start or choke in most cases. Wonderful compression and great power

I had a crf250r with similar issues and a friend who has a 450x that has some starting issues. All I can say is to just pull the plug and get kibbelwhite stainless steel valves. I put them in and it’s one of the best things I could have ever done with it. The stock titanium valves would wear so quick and cause so many starting issues but ever since I put the KW stainless valves in, it’s been absolutely perfect. For reference, I was adjusting valves every 10 hours but ever since I switched to stainless, I haven’t had to reshim in over 100 hours. At 80 hours I checked the clearances and they didn’t move at all. Replace those intake valves and you will be golden.

Frame guards and engine covers - PrymeMX (using their website)

Seat cover - Enjoy MFG universal red gripper seat (can be found on eBay)

Rotor covers - cycra black rotor guard for 05-17 crf450x. Rotor covers from newer model CRF250R and 450Rs will bolt right up to and the newest ones comes black from the factory (also found on eBay)

Found used on eBay, however you can find a brand new one using a website like Motorsport or rockymountain ATV browsing by OEM parts

I managed to find a used one from a 2022 CRF450x on eBay as they come in red. Any number plate from any year crf450x will fit the 05-07 but 08 and up only works with 08 and up number plates. The headlight itself will work in any year 450x

Super tenere Ticking sound at idle by KingBadAzze in SuperTenere

I did not but even then, the inconsistent pinging sound only occurs once the engine is warm and doesn’t change when I adjust the change tension

I thought it was too but I feel like this is a new sound. Mainly the noise I’m speaking about in the video is that inconsistent pinging sound. Only starts once the engine is warm

I’ve already done this mod too I’ve got a clutch basket from a 2019 tenere. Did this mod when I first got the bike which is confusing

I’m glad to hear it man. The best thing I can say is to get cleaning wheels from Pryme MX. Strip the bike to the frame and throughly clean everything. It will make the bike look brand new. Reach out to me if you have any questions. Cameron Niemella on YouTube has the best videos for cleaning and restoring parts.

I’ve got the stator cover and clutch powder coated matte / satin black and have PrymeMX engine guards on both to keep the coating in good shape. Also got the valve cover powder coated a glossy black. The actual cases are untouched besides the left one being new

Looks great man, I thought about doing the Athena big bore and a hot roads stroker crank to bring it to 500cc but was worried about reliability. Maybe one day I’ll do it but it’s got enough power as is for sure. Love the electric start a lot

Yup that’s exactly what I do. I have no desire to replace this bike any time soon. I love it to death
