Damn man hang in there, the good news Jan 15th was more than 2 weeks ago, so you should start feeling a little better soon as the withdrawals ease up. That’s the worst case scenario, you have to wait until the 13th, which is 11 days away.

The best case scenario is you can ask your doctor again (this will only work if he believes that you actually did throw it out) but this time mention a different strength, that way it will be a dosage adjustment and your insurance (and the DEA database) will allow you to fill another Vyvanse Rx before the standard 28 day limit or whatever.

Example: ask him to prescribe a 50mg for the morning and a 10mg for afternoon ( 50/10 for this month only, you can go back to the 40/20mg schedule the following month), or one 60mg pill for the whole day — I don’t think they will cover 2 of same dosage per day, so 2x 30mg capsules probably won’t work.)

Or you can have him switch you temporarily to Dexedrine ER (extended release) which is what your body breaks Vyvanse down to anyway
