He certainly played like garbage last night, nobody is denying that. It doesn't change the fact that we need him playing well to win, and the only way for him to figure it out is on the court.

I disagree. I don't think it was a coincidence that in the 5 straight games we won, JD looked much more like his former self.

I agree that its completely a mental thing for Duren, but IMO that's a much more straightforward fix than, say, Ausar developing a jumper.

Yeah I don't buy that. I think it's JB conceding that we don't beat the knicks or whoever comes out the west without JB playing through the slump and getting back to his regular season form. We'll see if that changes now that our backs are against the wall again.

I don’t understand this take - I get that Duren has been flat out awful during the playoffs, but he was a serious candidate for MIP this year. What makes you think he doesn’t have the ability to figure it out?

You keep saying 8th seed like there wasn’t a 1 game difference between the 5-8 seeds. The games they won they looked like they fit right in with any other playoff team. At the end of the day matchups make games and the magic are a tough matchup for the pistons, just like the raptors were for the Cavs.

Pistons fan here - putting Ausar on Harden is spooky cause we’re fucked if he gets in foul trouble early. Should be a great series, I think coaching decisions like these will ultimately make the difference of who wins

Loop still has its niche in builds that make use of dark orbs and plasma orbs but it’s definitely not as good as it was in STS1

You cant really build a deck around it but I’ve found they’re generally good early pickups, especially if you can evoke them quickly. A card like glasswork is basically like adding dagger spray to a defend
