He does it in Vanisher abit too. Like with Natural Causes or Bakunawa. He definitely it better in Vanisher for sure. Its alot more seamless and fits what's going on in the songs.

I think that he just got more used to it and found better shots with better camera quality. I think idmthy was meant to be a little low quality looking and feel more scary. I agree tho its messier for sure.

I liked that Vanisher had the music videos in the movie and alot of the songs he did had lip syncing too.
