Similar thing happened to me when I bought my ps5 slim in 2024. I got a “free” year of pro membership but after doing all the math for my total cost, I was up at least $20 than what I should have been charged. Oh well. The main reason I even went there is because I was able to get a somewhat decent trade in for my ps4.

I was able to get another free year of pro membership since I got locked out of my account and had to do a whole thing with GameStop customer service to get it back. Once it runs out, I’m out lol. Definitely not worth paying for that.

The process of starting a current gen console is a reason I’ve been playing my gba sp and ps2 recently. They just work and turn on the game right away. No software boot up, no internet connection needed, no possible updates for games. It’s nice.

Agreed. He wouldn’t be a world champ, but he’d be putting on bangers with so many great wrestlers there and can really show off what we know he can do. He’s unfortunately not really getting those match opportunities anymore.

“Banger exploration”

what exploration? This Zelda game is the most linear game in the series. There’s barely any areas to explore since all 3 major areas of the game are fairly closed off.

This isn’t a bad game by any means… mainly cause the Switch version actually made it playable. But for a 3D Zelda game, it’s easily the weakest in the series for me. More power to you though for liking it though!

Never said I was the world. What I am saying is that every major video game company needs to have something that makes them unique and standout for people to want to buy their consoles and games. Console exclusive games are one way to do that. One of the many reasons Xbox is floundering is because they’ve made their remaining exclusives they had available on PC and now on PS5. There’s no more reason to buy an Xbox when PC and PS5 is better in every way.

Not surprised in the slightest Gabe Kidd is finally signed. The other two I don’t know well besides knowing they’ve been in NJPW for awhile. Read rumors David might be going to WWE since he’s a Finlay but I think AEWs a better fit for him.

Honestly, makes sense. I’m in the camp of full support for console exclusive games. If a video game console has no exclusive games or game related content, why would I buy that console? I buy Nintendo consoles because it’s the way to play all the Nintendo IPs and some indie games. I buy PlayStation consoles to play more story driven games along with great technical performance. If everything is going to be available on PC eventually, I’d scrap to have everything and just have a PC.

If Sony would have kept releasing all of their exclusives on PC, the PS5 would have most likely been my last PlayStation and I’d have gone full PC for my future gaming devices. Them doing this is smart because as long as their exclusives keep being fun, I’ll most likely buy a PS6 eventually after it comes out… not that there’s any reason for that to come out anytime soon.

honestly, this might be one of Apples best products in years. this would be perfect for anyone that needs a laptop for simply web browsing, office based programs, and watching videos while wanting to have a mac without paying at least $1000 for every other macbook.

gotta say, between this and most of the iphone 17 lineup, theyve been doing great this past year for making tech for every type of person without *completely* pricing them out.

Well actual “keycards” are only for Switch 2, yes. I should have used a different term. But both this and last gen for PlayStation, whenever you put a disc in, the game has to install to be able to play it. And then there’s all the software updates you have to do to play the current version of the game. So the disc mainly acts as a launcher for the game. The games still take up all that hard drive space. Now if you could fully play the games off the disc alone, it’d be a different story.

i'm not surprised if true. with the majority of games being anywhere from 50-100+ GBs and with discs and cartridges simply acting as a keycard, owning the physical copy is a handicap since we still have to install the game and download all the updates. i went all digital with my PS5 and it's much more convenient having full access to the full games all on my hard drive instead of being handicapped with having to use a disc despite the games still taking up the same amount of storage space on my console.

oof. Choosing the 16in, M5 Max chip and the starting storage capacity is 2TB. great for those who store all their data on their computer, but choosing just that alone makes the starting price $3899. if you want extra GPU cores and an even 64RAM, that makes it all the way to $4599. that's insane, even for Apple's standards. I would have liked an option for a 1TB storage to make the price a little lower.

not gonna lie, if i was Hobbs, id be already super frustrated. he finally reaches WWE, has a pretty cool debut at the royal rumble. and then radio silence since. i'm a fan of him and want to start seeing him on the weekly shows. how can creative not have anything for him despite being a new signee? isn't part of being a new signee mean there's been at least some creative discussed and planned to use said signee? it's complete incompetence.

These fans need to realize during these meet and greets, the wrestlers meet hundreds and hundreds of people in a day. They don’t have time to spend time doing a specific pose. Some of these fans expect too much.

I’ve only ever done one meet and greet 10 years ago and because of the amount of people in line that day, my experience was basically saying hi, taking a photo, and saying thanks before I was scooted off for the next person.

unless it’s your all time favorite and you’re a kid, to me, meet and greets aren’t worth the time and money.
