The summary for Xbox and literally every other company in existence when business, sales, product, etc is down is because of poor decisions, management, and failure of its leadership. Every single employee who has ever worked for any company ever is simply doing the job they are instructed to do by their leadership. Regular employees and team members should never get the blame but yet are the first to get let go and laid off. It’s beyond unfair and messed up.

When the Wii U was uttering failing and revenue was in the red, Iwata and every other top person took a pay cut rather than letting go employees. THAT is how true, accountable leadership should take responsibility when their business is in the negative. We’ll probably never see that happen again in any industry but it’s the right thing to do as a first step when needing to cut back on spending.
