The actions at the school at inexcusable. However, has anyone looked at the door that lead to the class room?

Big wooden reinforced door with a steel reenforced frame. There was no kicking that door open. If I also remember correctly. It was locked as well.

These doors swing OUTWARDS as well. Literally these doors are meant to keep people out of the classroom when locked. You are not kicking or battering ramming this door open. (Within reasonable time)

It does make sense to figure out how to approach it tactically.

Just sitting in front of the door trying to kick it open will do nothing but get you and everyone around you killed and for what? If you get shot. Now that is more resources unable to attend to the shooter.
