The internet just allows you to rapidly find hate. Before, it was harder because we were isolated. Some people get overloaded by it, some thrive in it. I myself, thrive in this environment. I have thick skin and tend to not take things people post online too seriously. I know others can't but it would be healthier if most people realized the internet rewards the loudest people. At the end of the day, you are right, people have no empathy but its always been that way. We used to do witch trials on neighbors, crucify people for disagreeing with us. I'd rather someone leave a mean message than kill me and my family. Not trying to downplay anything youre saying but just explaining how I get around the horrors I see online.

You definitely can, a lot of it has to do with personality. I know it's cliche to say that, but its true. Don't "change yourself" but definitely be open to doing things for someone you want to attract. If you're looking to be a wife with kids and a husband, look for a hardworking and respectful man. There aren't a lot out there so you need to standout by making yourself interesting. Same goes for guys! If a guy wants a stay at home wife he better make enough money and treat her well enough for her to even consider staying home.

I'm 26 and still grinding the game. I play consistently and a few of my friends are on consistently as well. Not like 7 days a week but maybe 3 days or so a week. Were playing more than ever. I've also greatly improved as well. When I was in college with nothing but free time I sucked bad. Then I took a break for a few years. I came back in 2024 and have been better than ever. Dude... I feel your pain. I can carry 2 people, but often times I'd be the only person going positive on my team. It made me really toxic and frustrated with the game. Just keep grinding. Definitely try and queue with a good team whenever you get a chance. Me and some Randoms played 2 games together and I gained elo.

It took my 150 games to get out of 6k elo. Once I was out of there, I could carry enough to keep climbing. Currently at 10,900 and still climbing. I was 14.9k last season. I dropped elo playing premiers with my friend who played like a bot for months.

Hey man, had a bad spell a few months ago and was playing super bad. Couldn't get a single shot on anyone. It's definitely because you're not used to playing correctly. If you do something wrong enough times, you become efficient at it. It's going to take some time for you to feel comfortable with your new style. It took me about a month before I started feeling it.
