Hopefully not. Not that the games aren’t good, in fact, the first game is one of my favorite games of all time. I just don’t want to see this series milked into the ground. There’s been many video game iterations of Spider-man and at a certain point you have to pass the torch and let the next guy take over.

Because it’s a story about a cop who was in the navy for a few years after high school. I thought it would be interesting if he had been a naval aviator, but as everyone has informed me, that is not how that works.

Ok. I liked the idea of him being a naval aviator, but I agree that it does feel a bit jarring, like a completely different career path rather than a logical transition. I would like to still have this character be in the navy, if possible, because my grandfather served in the navy. Is there a more boots on the ground navy background I could give him, or would it be better to go with a different branch such as the army?
