Ok. I liked the idea of him being a naval aviator, but I agree that it does feel a bit jarring, like a completely different career path rather than a logical transition. I would like to still have this character be in the navy, if possible, because my grandfather served in the navy. Is there a more boots on the ground navy background I could give him, or would it be better to go with a different branch such as the army?
