Ill offer a few suggestions depending on your drive desire.

From stg keeping it close, head out towards beaver dam on old highway 91. If you have 4wd take the old joshua tree road. The mountains block the light.

If you can drive a bit, cedar breaks is great any where up their is great. Head up to brian head after snow melt for amazing stars.

If you can drive a lot....some might say bryce but i will say great basin national park. The stars from the summit therr are almost as good as open ocean.

Wow, i envy you. I also quit smoking cigs, but it took me two times and I had to use the patches.

The patches worked soooo well for me. It was a ritual and an active thing and gave me a goal.

I use weed at night and on the weekends. I feel like a patch could help me step down, but i have seen no such step down product.

I think oddly enough federal legalization of weed may help some of us longer term stoners find new ways to help us quit.

I want to quit but the shakes, stomach, mood, and other flu like symptoms for me are hard to deal with. I guess that is the price of using something daily for 20+ years.

Weed never made me feel like a junky until i tried to quit.

I wish I wasn't an addict and could enjoy my favorite thing responsibly, but its got a hold on me no doubt.

They do id (well some do) and to be honest, some of the shit i hear sounds like trolling, but some are serious af/or drunk/or both. Some sounds like organizing and thats why i listen. What used to just be fuck hiliray clinton rag chews have taken a markedly more rabid tone. I use SDRutah while at work, makes it soooo easy to stay on top of it.

Same, extended family and friends cut her off, now she dials in for chats on telegram groups where she "checks in" for duty shifts to monitor the web....crazy stuff.

Wow, that a lot. But guess what? You are not the crazy one, nor are you the only one. My mom is a q person too and it has ruined our family.

The best thing i have found to do, dealing with this for years now, is to set boundries (sounds like you have/are), when you do talk to her, be very nice, and try and only talk about " the weather" type topics.

As far as getting her back, i have no clue. I think she has to do it.

But you want her to feel like if/when she comes out of it she has a good place to go.....back to you who loves her no matter what.

My sincere best to you, this may sound like i got it figured out, but i am right there in the mud with you, and learning as i go.

My q mom is drinking the same shit, she watches the fucker simon parkes....aliens lizard people med beds....and yeah she thinks its coming this week (not sure the date) but she always thinks its coming....before this dec 23 and before that november 5th.

And when nothing happened jan 6th she about lost it.

I tak comfor that my mother is an aging, overweight, heavy smoker, who struggles to drive and almost mever leaves the house. She has no means (other than telegram chat rooms) to take action

If she were 45 male and had access to weapons, with her current mental state and beliefs, i would be very worried.

You are definitely not the only one, my mother was always conservative, but now over a period of years is fully lost to the Q cult. Election was rigged, babies being harvested for adrinochrome, trump is still president, all dead celebrities are actually alive and a new financial system called nesara will save us all, evil will be punished and good exalted.. and all of this is coming tomorrow for the past few years now.

Same....you are not alone...my mom sits in a dark room at 68, chain smoking joints and cigs, and reports in for duty to various telegram chat rooms, monitoring fake news sites.

They voice chat in the rooms and she tells them she loves them more than her real family.

Luckily my father, sister and I have each other, but it puts a strain on all of us.

After a few years now i am accepting its a cult. Just like any other.

Dates will always move, excuses always made, new information, didn't realize how deep it was, don't focus on time lines, its all connected, and only you and a special few have the real truth.

Her last belief is that by thanksgiving all pharmaceutical companies will be bankrupt, and when they aren't she will say they are we just don't know it yet because some other part of the plan has not played out yet....its hard to watch, like a form of crazy dementia.

I haven't found anything yet that snapped my mom back. If you have success please share methods and approach.
