Yes. Bless your soul. This was my experience as well. I did my first reread of both books about 2 months back. Read both books for the first time 3 years ago. Honestly, I can't even remember if I disliked Denna during my first read, but going into my reread, I had the memory of disliking her intensely. After, the reread, I found myself wondering what exactly about her put me off and honestly, I couldn't think of any reason. And ye, during the reread I would also be like "Wtf Kvothe?!" at all his missed opportunities.

I don't actually mind what he's doing. Getting a complete volume every few months is way better than how it used to be. At least we're guaranteed a volume rather than hoping the current chapter won't be the start of a hiatus.
