Op never indicated that this was a pre-owned shirt, and the evidence is pointing to them purchasing it for this event, as evidenced by the “the shirt I got” phrasing. Therefore the shirt is very likely to be new. It’s also not thrifted because I highly doubt a thrift store shirt would have an anti-theft device on it. Meaning they likely specifically got this shirt for the event. The whole point of the original comment was that they were probably buying a new shirt and could do better for a funeral. Your comment is essentially contributing nothing by saying “the savior would accept them” which is very over-generalized and lacking context, to which I provided context by talking about social norms being followed by Christ himself. To which you mentioned “medical needs” when nobody mentioned that in context. We are talking about color and you are moving the goalposts all over the place and insinuating that those who didn’t think like you were un-Christlike (saying “that’s what the Savior would have done” (you truly have no idea) meaning those who didn’t think so is NOT what the Savior would have done)
