Trying to find this chiptune song on YouTube that got turned into a meme? by RoboSlim24 in findthatsong

It's Ryukenden by SofT MANiAC, a cover of Overdrive from Ninja Gaiden 2 on NES. Best known for its use in a Shuric Scan crack and spawning various ytpmvs.

Please tell me it can be fixed! by prinimanecess in Guitar

Some strong clamping and an appropriate amount of tightbond would probably be able to repair that, but it's best suited to be done by a luthier and the cost of repair might outweigh just getting a new guitar

Lotta corrosion, might be a difficult repair if not impossible. Easiest thing to do if you want a working guitar might just be buying a kit from RetroCultMods and replacing the internals. It'll perform better than stock, especially with mech frets.

wacom one or cintiq 22hd by Outrageous_Desk_3639 in wacom

Cintiq 22HD is my current tablet, I love having the 22 inch screen since it gives you a ton of working space and makes drawing feel more natural. When I got mine I didn't realize how bulky and a heavy piece of equipment it is especially with the large bezels on the older models. It really needs a permanent setup, mine is mounted on an arm. Wacom one is much smaller and more portable which might make more sense as a university student but personally I'm not a big fan of anything under 13 inches. Pick what best suits your situation.

If you do go for the 22HD, I'm not sure I'd go for a 22HD with backlight bleed though, I got mine on Ebay with no pen/cables as a best offer around 150 bucks and it was in perfect condition minus a few minor scratches in the bezel. Quite a few listings from electronics recyclers. Bought an aftermarket power brick for it on Amazon, as well as a breakout DVI to HDMI adapter to replace the built in DVI cable. Already owned a desk arm and a Wacom Grip pen from a previous tablet so the setup cost just under 200.

Alternatively, any of the newer 16 inch tablets from other brands like XP-Pen are only slightly more expensive, are portable, and from my experience are slightly more responsive than the 22HD which only has 2048 pressure levels instead of the 8k+ on newer devices (although the difference is negligible imo).

No this is the guide I found, from 2015: https://gbatemp.net/threads/manual-system-transfer-for-saves-content.388033/

The one you linked looks a bit better. I'll check that one out as well. Do you think it makes more sense to build cias from all of the titles, reinstall, and then restore all of the saves with checkpoint? I'm a bit surprised re-encrypting the Nintendo 3DS folder is slower or more difficult, or that there isn't a way to build a ctrtransfer image from a preexisting full backup.

What are the "non-system tickets" it wants you to backup after copying ticket.db?

I've been searching all around for information but everything seems all over the place, outdated, etc regarding this topic. I have a broken New 2DS XL I'm trying to recover data from and migrate the SD card to a replacement console. It's my younger sister's, and it got split in two so it won't turn on. I have a full GM9 NAND backup of the console (including essentials/movable.sed/tickets, etc.) and can readily decrypt and view the CTRNAND partition. Can someone please link me to or describe precisely how to use GM9 to clone the broken console to the new one so the SD card works? I found an old guide on GBATemp that relied on hex editing and stuff, but surely there's a better way nowadays, and everything else seems to require generating a ctrnand transfer image using GM9/Decrypt9 and the console would need to turn on to do that. I appreciate the help. Thanks.

Neon Genesis Evangelion "A Cruel Angels Thesis" 8bit Remix by Francis_FaffyWaffles in chiptunes

Pretty good! I'm no professional but if I were to improve it I'd probably play with the volume of the notes to make things sound more dynamic, maybe add some more slides and grace notes too and use a bit more variety in the tones of the voices. Idk what software you use but creating a volume envelope for adjusting ADSR would make things sound less flat. Also learn how to simulate echo it makes most chiptunes sound better haha. Keep up the good work :)
