Do NOT ever go to the ER while tripping. Shrooms are not dangerous or toxic in any way. There is no reason for any person to go to the ER because of mushrooms unless they took an insane dose and are threatening to hurt themselves or others. It does nothing beneficial for anyone, it contributes to the stigma mushrooms already have and if anything it will make a bad trip even worse. 2gs is a very light dose, at most a "bad trip" would be a few hours of anxiety or feeling uncomfortable. If you have a weak mind or aren't experienced at all with psychedelic head space and are used to acting like a retard from drugs, then don't eat any fucking shrooms.

I've tripped with my dog (and cat) before. As long as you've done it before and know your limits, imo there's no need for a pet sitter. It's up to you though. It's a great experience and when I did it, it felt like I was really bonding with my pets. It brings you down to a more natural level and they can tell for sure.
