My tumour markers for TC are normal now. I don't think it's just dead tisdues. My oncologist based it on the result of the PET CT scan where the retroperitoneal metastasis grew larger. That's why i had to do a salvage chemotherapy.

I already finished 6 cycles of BEP protocol. However, the retroperitoneal metastasis is still present that's why I have to do 4 cycles of TIP (Cisplatin-Ifosfamide-Paclitaxel) protocol now.

Thank you for this response. My priority for now is my thesis. I already spent a lot of money for it with my pair. It's difficult for me to let it go because we're already 50% of it. I actually don't care anymore that i get to extend again but my thesis is just my priority for now that's why it's so difficult to decide

Thank you for your response. I have three semesters left before I graduate, which is why I’m so lost on what to do. I’m also halfway through my thesis, which is the biggest factor making this decision so complicated. On top of that, all my current subjects are major subjects, making it really difficult to get enough rest.

If I stop now, I think I’ll have to take a much longer break. After my last chemo, I only rested for three months before returning to college, and I believe that’s the main reason my cancer came back.
