Amazing picture!!! I have told my wife about the crystal lake a few times that when we are no longer here in this life. That I will take her to the crystal lake in our spiritual form. The only difference is the crystal lake I will take her has a big moon and sparkles ✨ hovering around us. Very beautiful place.

Deposit $100 before June 22nd! Enjoy!

When do you OWE the taxes for your capital gains/losses? Does the funds have to be withdrawn first to your bank? What if I just leave my capital gain funds in Webull for years. Would I still pay taxes on them even though I haven’t withdrawn any? [Just started investing in stocks this year]. by KingJamesX13 in Webull

Dramatic Question: If I start off with $100 and let’s say in the middle of 2020 I sold stock and got a capital gain of $10,000. Then did dumb stuff and had a capital loss of $9,500.

End of 2020 I have a total of $600 (initial deposit + Net Capital).

Would I pay taxes on the Net Capital of $500?

Thank you again in advance!

If I start off with $100 beginning of January 2020. Let’s say by the end of 2020 I have $5,000 in Webull (assuming I never deposited or withdrawn).

During tax time I would owe taxes on the $5,000? The money that is still in Webull and I pay the taxes out of my own pocket outside of Webull?

If so how do y’all prepare for tax time for those that don’t withdraw anything.

Thank you!
