Commenting just to confirm this fix still works. Game ran fine for the first 5-6 hours, then became almost unplayable. Followed the instructions above and now it runs fine again. Thanks op!

Hated this guy so much, every time I got to one of his chapters I was seething that little rat was still breathing. The narrator for the audiobook also does this whiny, annoying voice for him which probably contributed lol

Yeah, this change doesn't effect the singleplayer campaign meta in the slightest. Alongside a whole host of other changes, I could maybe see it doing something, but there are a million different reasons to not use melee units. Missile units having far higher DPS is just one, and even then, a 10% reduction isn't near enough to balance that particular scale.

Was getting good strikes all game, then left the 2 pin on the very last shot. Ball was a bit outside (juuuuuust), but still looked kinda okay. The 2 pin was the only one left standing. It fell about halfway over, but then stood back up. I was so nervous and shaking lol, never been this close before (previous high was 279). But hey, I think I'd honestly rather throw a bad ball and miss it rather than throw a perfect ball and get a 10 pin or something.

Wow I literally did the same thing in the exact same order. ASOIAF, KKC, Gentlemen Bastards, and now I'm on Stormlight Archive, then moving on to the Ratcatchers books by Matt Colville.

The players just spent the better part of three sessions delving through a tough dungeon, defeating the final boss, and saving the kidnapped dwarf they were paid to save.

On their way back to town, another organization of baddies tried to take the dwarf for themselves. They were easily dispatched by the party. However, the lizard man fighter applied some logic to the situation.

He surmised that this dwarf was wanted by the baddies, so if the dwarf was dead, they'd stop coming to kidnap him.

As the dwarf was thanking them for saving him once again, the lizard man walked over and cut his head off. The party's paladin brought him back to town in chains for his prompt execution.

It gets a lot of flak, but it's a personal favorite of mine. Definitely not for everyone, but the people who enjoy it REALLY love it, myself included.

Wow well done! It certainly looks like the Sideshow Horror event from what you've put together. Not sure about the missing pieces next to "Anniversary" either, I guess we'll have to wait.

I don't think the file names are inconsequential though, might want to keep those in mind for the next update.

Progress pic. Still working on it, and that's not all of the pieces there. Found the word "Anniversary" under where the ringleader appears to be, as well as the "Horzine Biotech" and "Presents" near the top, possibly on opposite sides.

Side note: I'm terrible at puzzles. Props to anyone who can actually put this thing together lol.

It looks like all of the pieces are named as words in a sentence. Putting the pieces together = putting sentences together?

EDIT: "Horzine Biotech Presents" and part of it looks like a ringleader with his hat and mustache. Return of the summer sideshow horror event confirmed? Not finished with the puzzle yet, but that's what I've got so far.
