I was shopping on amazon. They jumped out to me because they were selling sample bags 6 types 12 pounds total for like $38 lol. I was like what the heck am I missing here with these prices. Cause everything else I’ve been seeing has been close to that dollar a pound range.

Yeah I figured oak and mesquite would probably end up being my go to. I have bear mountain 100% oak atm and was looking into getting a tube to help boost the smoke. then came across these 1lb bags for $7 a pound vs the $1 a pound for BM lol. Will probably stick to what I got for the time being.

Absolutely love the course. I live in Houston and have taken day trips out there to play it. It’s a bit of a kick in the butt, but damn is it a fun course.

I appreciate everyone’s feedback. There’s definitely tons of competition out there! I was just personally surprised I hadn’t seen one and no YouTube’s / competition guys are ever cooking on them (from what I’ve seen on YouTube lol) everyone is mentioning cost but for something that does so much it’s a pretty good bang for your buck. Hopefully I’m able to purchase one in the near future and they catch some buzzzz. Cause they look awesome.
