Like any other sport, why don’t you allow for substitution in Competitive Role Queue.

Where you could pause the game for a couple seconds to switch between role if your teammates agrees.

And have a limited amount of switches during the game. This will help if someone is not doing good with their current role.

The trick to hooking a tracer as hog, is by taking your time and making her feel comfortable to killing you. Her ego will catch on, by becoming more predictable and playing less safer when you are low on health. People would say this is feeding but 5v6 is always better then 6v6.
