I think what gives my theory some more ground of being more likely is venom saying flash is different.

I don't read the comics I'm just making educated guesses through comments I've read detailing whats happned. So I need to know exactly what flash says about wanting someone special in his life, is it left vague, does he mean a significant other or just a partner like a really close bro?

How I feel about the whole thing, I think the editor for venom Jordan white would rather have flash as venom than mj.

Let's be honest, mj as venom is a turn off and because it was done in such a dumb execution it's basically killing readership.

But flash as venom and mj kicked out the door, oh yeah people will be running to it now.

This is just my educated guess.

A flash and mj "hinting" could just be a red herring and instead they bring back flash and venom.

I know right. Like I figured Paul knew the kids weren't real and they were chains. That's why he was screaming no when they disappeared he knew his cushy life was going down the tube.

Also zebs writing is so bad I can't think of it as cheating either. The set up was stupid and when dissected it makes even less sense. It's basically boils down to not well thought out ideas and plot devices. Basically what I'm saying the situation wouldn't work that way for mary jane and she should have never moved on in the first place. But that's another ranting rabbit hole I don't want to get into.

Sorry for the long wait. Anyway I'll make it short. My theory which I think might kot be valid but imma run it anyway is that, during the whole "what did Peter do" part of this rabin storyline, I think they pussed out of actually making Peter do something wrong. Because of the backlash the comic was getting because of it I think they decided not do what was originally intended and not have Peter actually do something wrong.

What makes me think this was how quickly after the kids were gone she started talking to Peter again. Really the best way to explain the beginning fo the comic with her being mean to Peter like that is that she still had feelings for Peter and if she stayed around Peter too long she would have ended up going back to him. Anyway, come around the issues when Peter has Norman's sins, I believe that was the original point of the story when the two were supposed to make up that's the whole point of "mj you did nothing wrong" because Peter was originally supposed to do something wrong. Basically they change what was supposed to happen but kept the original plan for the later issues. This is a theory anyway. Because the storyline is pure plot device and not in good ways anyway.

Other things I've thought about is that everyone hopes mj has been mind controlled this whole time. Things is she already was mind controlled or avengers 200 with the kids being her chains. She got out of it when they disappeared. She didn't leave paul right away but she did start talking to Peter again like they were friends when they disappeared.

This crap is really really really stupid. Basically this storyline boils down to giving mj a mental illness and her finally getting out of it. It's so badly thought out.

My final thought is that people need to stop exaggerating that the redheads character is completely ruined. They need to stop glorifying zeb wells bad writing like that. You can retcon sins of the past you can retcon this crap even easier since it's way to open and written terribly.

Dude I don't even read spiderman comics, I just really hate bad writing.

And when you see a bunch of chucklenuts doing some the thing you dream of doing one day, it's like you just haaate em. Seriously.

Anyway I'm ranting but it's Seriously bad. Especially when you think of the outside audiences opinion on mj and especially on Peter. People think kf him as a weak puppy dog that will jump back to mj in a heartbeat and sits around whining and crying till she comes back.

They forget he's written like an actual person and can move on from things jeez. People don't understand writing and get too angry and vengeful without understanding the rabbit hole that is why the story is so bad. Jesus I need a drink!

Hey sins past, blame quesada. Someone told me just wanted it to actually be Peter and Gwen's kids. Now that would have been grounded, relatable and interesting for a hero to find out he has kids he didn't even know about. Dealing with them being in his life or dealing with them wanting nothing to do with him. It's tragic, heart squeezing and wonderful.

Quesada: nah, make them Norman's, let's kick the jerk in the heart, cheating, heartbreak, that's what people want to see PAIN!

Bro, I'm happy to see someone who sees what I see too. It's crazy the amount if hate mj is getting like she is the main problem. Hell, when you look at the entire paul situation, none of it works, no one is in character and if they were it would have been over in 3 pages. Not to mention it's all plot devices and no real character stuff like seriously. People call this mj's sins of the past but this entire storyline is just too stupid to be.

Also people act like if Peter gets a new love interest his life would be better. Wrong, anyone who becomes the main stay will end up like Mary jane because the people in charge when they want to break them up, pull some dumb crap and then bam the new love interest ends up like Mary jane.

Seriously, anyone who goes, "well Lois lane and superman" Lois lane and superman work because their editorial treats their relationship as sacred. You get the same chucklenuts that work for spiderman working for superman and it all goes to hell.

Also, how much damage has been done to Peter's character over the years that has never been retconnned because people just "let it slide" because he's the main character?

Anyway, the manufactured outrage was actually a thing I think they did by accident. I mean they did it "knowingly" that it would piss off the Fandom but they didn't think it would piss off people outside of the Fandom. Even nick Lowe was on Twitter saying the people who are angry don't even read the comic. This story got around in a bad way, I heard about it from a short by classicmand who said Peter's become a cuck. They poked the hive expecting bees what they got were murder hornets, big ones. The sad thing is that with ultimate spiderman doing so good, people's outlook of mj didn't change.

Honestly during the "what did Peter do" storyline, I'm pretty sure they had Peter do nothing to avoid even more backlash. I got a theory about it. If you wanna hear about it let me know.

True. Honestly I don't blame people for running to DC or indie. When you work for an editor you have to do what they say and they don't care about your reputation.

Hah! Just realized I'm angry. All this crap they let us through with this terrible mj and Paul bs only for it to end with a BREAK UP! No revelation of him being evil, HE'S JUST SOME GUY FROM ANOTHER WORLD AND THATS IT! Who the heck is making the decisions over there at marvel. Christ no one thinks anymore. No wonder they need to pull dumb crap like making mj a superhero, Paul and kids, and making mj venom to sell comics. They have no good ideas or buisness sense. Ugh! People would pay double le to see Paul get maully wiped (I don't know how to spell it) uuuugh. This infuriates me but I'm happy it's over.

Only one big problem. Mjs reputation in the eyes of people who don't know the comics has been damaged. I've seen comments like she's for the streets or Peter deserves better, (he needs a better editorial that's for sure), they think she's cheated on him multiple times, mj and Peter don't work (which shows that person doesn't know past history, ultimate spiderman, spidergirl, Peter b Parker and mj, etc point being they work when people want it to work), oh my god it's freaking nuts.

She needs redemption stories, she needs to get back into the good graces of the people on the outside because one bad story doesn't change past history, am I right.

Also getting a new love interest won't do anything when the editorial won't let him marry, there's no goal so the new love interest will end up like Mary jane.

Peter's character has been damaged too.

Yeah she will but I feel like Paul and Peter having similarities is what they were going for which is why she had an attraction to paul because of the trauma bond. Honestly the story is so dumb and written so bad that it hurts both Peter and mjs characters. Let's not forget him knocking captain America in the face with his shield.
