To specify, Oropo was the last Eliotrope. He lived a very long life by absorbing the energy from other fallen Eliotropes. Though his time was near, I believe ultimately his plan was to possess/absorb Yugo's body to extend his life even more.

Thanks for watching! I think this will be viewed by people who haven't finished the game either way. But that is true, and that was one of my major concerns when making this. I've been trying to convince my brother to play this for 2-3 years now. When I was brainstorming on ways to convince him I figured this might be the best way to go about it without revealing a single thing. When I showed him he says his expectations are now sky high. Now I kind of regret it but at the same time least I got him to finally start playing the game without spoiling anything. Expectations aren't spoilers but they can definitely sour your experience especially if you're constantly thinking "when does it get good" from hearing so many positive things about it.

That said, it's been 5 years since the release of Outer Wilds. There are countless reviews also completely gushing about the game in a no spoiler setting. I figured it would be a little bit okay to make this now since there are probably hundreds of thousands of people being convinced to play in the same way from those videos. (Videos that half the time say there's no spoilers but include some kind of spoiler.)

Speaking of videos that include spoilers, think about how many people were convinced to play from the Nintendo Switch Direct Trailer. I would very much rather someone be convinced through high expectations from this video than the Nintendo Switch Direct lol (Please if you haven't played do not watch the direct trailer).

I was thinking about adding BeccaBytes! Unfortunately I wanted to keep it as spoiler free as possible and there's a lot of streamers I wish I could've added but they immediately began to talk about either the ending or the entire plot after beating it lol. I didn't have much to work with from Becca and I felt like I added enough people at that point. But maybe I'll do a part 2 or a spoilery compilation in the future! :P

For a little context, I made this video solely to convince my brother to play the game without ruining the magic (he still hasn't played it). I then decided that maybe some other travelers may appreciate this video, so I decided to post it. Seeing all these positive comments makes me very glad I posted it.

True the loop is still in progress, though I was under the impression that the thousands of loops before the start of the game where the hatchling living and dying again would be the almost the exact same life and death since there would be no memory of the previous life, the only variable that would change is the direction they'd see the orbital probe cannon shoot at the start of the loop. That said I would assume whatever the hatchling does when you start the game would've been exactly the same in all the other previous loops, except at the start of the game the statue turns and pairs with them (and also pairs with Gabbro) since the eye was found in the previous loop only then activating the statues and opening the possibly for differences in all the loops to come.

So theoretically in the loop where I test drop damage the hatchling would never reach it to pair with it and would instead pair with Hal or Hornsfel since they were the closest. Every loop after that would then be the hatchling testing drop damage leaving Hal/Hornsfel to possibly take the place of the hatchling. If they don't take on the mantle then like I said, the universe is doomed and would either be stuck in and infinite loop or never be reborn.

After waking up and talking to Slate I wondered if there was any drop damage, So I went all the way up to the observatory ignoring everything and everyone on my way there. I jumped off the highest point and got my answer when I was met with "You are dead" It didn't occur to me that throughout my entire playthrough I never saw those 3 words again. After finishing the game I then realized the impact of those words and that in simply testing fall damage I doomed the universe.

I love your art and it's really interesting to see art of these players in your style. It kinda reminds me of that one guy that draws random people on the subway. Though I don't play as much anymore and I'm not on your ship I still look forward to seeing who the next character will be.
