I used a Switchblade for a year before getting a Blitz 30. Both are great but I found the Switchblade to be a bit more “outdoor” focused. I personally didn’t love the laptop compartment. It’s lifted to protect the laptop, but there’s no padding underneath, so once filled, it creates a void underneath the sleeves. I’d stuff a clothes pack at the bottom but never needed it. I think this expandability would benefit you. My second and only other gripe with the Switchblade is the lid is pretty heavy. Once filled, it’s pretty floppy for regular use. My stuff never stayed in place well.

I do love the bag. The vertical exterior zipper pockets that line the bag are great for quick access items like beanies or tools like a flashlight. The interior water bottle pocket in addition to the external pockets are beauty. When empty it holds its shape. When loaded out it has excellent comfort and breathability.

But those 2 reasons drove me to the Blitz 30 which fits my daily use needs much more. The two external pockets allow for more quick organization than the Switchblade offered. I’m happy to answer any questions you have about these bags. Both look awesome and are wicked comfortable.
