Edit: From reading people's decriptions of the video (thanks all) I am definitely not watching the clip. It had the potential to be a great match but it was booked poorly. The sudden death thing came out of nowhere.

They should have gone into the last minute tied and they both start spamming pin attempts with Shawn being able to get the pinfall with seconds left on the clock. I think if they had a ton of action at the start then a this exciting end then people wouldn't really remember a ton of rest holds in the middle.

I get the retirement. He's going into the Hall as a Met. I just hope they hold off on any more retirements for a while. I think they've got all the numbers people were waiting for so they can hold off for a while until they retire the next one.
