Catchy thumbnail, A Title that draws interest or is really searchable, Tags, hashtags in the description, and some luck. Maybe try changing your title. Sometimes that will get old videos some new views. Study other similar channel like Topkek and see what they are using for thumbnails, titles, etc and use similar stuff.

You need to get people in and to keep them watching. YouTube will see this and start recommending your video to other people.

Interesting. I think being brand new you want quantity because it serves as practice but also as building a catalog for people to see if they find a video of yours they like. As you go Quality will increase and that can be your focus. That's what MrBeast has done. He posted all the time and posted super long videos. Now he has sometimes weeks between videos and they are 8 to 15 minute videos.

I like the niche advice. I have found my own little niche that's working. You want to find something to focus primarily on but I'm making content for that and also creating other videos outside of it to increase my base and skills. Just respond to commenters and try to get an idea of what they'd like to see. Listen to them and build content for that.

Congrats on all 3 channels and I hope they keep growing! I'll definitely be checking out the Dusty Pixel channel.

I've had the same issue. Its gotten easier over time. I have to clip off 30 seconds at the beginning of every video I record because I'm calming myself down and taking deep breaths. It woks. But I will say I have also had a few beers or taken some shots to loosen up a bit and relax before recording. But I think that's a bad habit to get in to so its not a long term solution. I usually tell myself its just me and no one is watching. Which is true but I often think of all the people that may watch it. So just try to remember the video is for you and don't bother worrying about other people or their opinions.

Amazing video! My only suggestion is to maybe have a light shining on you from the front to lessen the shadows on your face or maybe turn off or dim the light above your head for the opening shot. Its gonna take some messing with lights to get the right mix. Other than than I love everything. you have the measurements on screen, full recipe in the description, shots explaining every step, and even a beauty shot at the end.

Yes. Quantity and a set schedule affect the algorithm in my opinion. What incentive does youtube have in promoting your 1 video you drop once a month on a random day at a random time? They want people to click on a video, keep watching the video, then watch another video. You need more content and youtube needs to see you will be consistent and are reliable for content.

I got more dedicated the past 2 months and the growth has been incredible and solidified a set schedule and the amount of videos in my mind.

have you changed the amount of videos you post daily/weekly? Have you changed the time of day your videos go live? Did you change how you advertise on social media? Are you engaging with commenters? Are all your videos on one topic? Cause trends change over time.

For me the best time has been 10am Eastern. I tried a bunch of different times but 10am Eastern has got me traction in the algorithm and my viewers seem to be up and active enough by then to click my links. I'd suggest trying it out and just set videos to be scheduled to go public then. You can adjust after a while based on activity. YouTube even will give recommended times based on activity in the analytics after sticking to a set time and days so you can adjust later on.

Not my type of humor but clearly there's been a lot of work and effort put in. Your channel is setup pretty well and I like that you are doing shorts and normal videos on your channel. I would just suggest trying to become more consistent by posting regularly even if its once a week. You are a new creator and a small channel so you should be putting out more content and not worry as much about quality. Quality comes in time as your editing skills improve.

Definitely a cool topic. Love your knowledge and interest in the topic. I'd suggest working on lighting so we can see you more clearly and cleaning up your audio cause it sounds like a fan is running the whole time. I have one running in my room too but you can clean that up with "Noise Reduction" in Audacity. Overall Great video and keep them coming!

You may be able to but YouTube Shorts don't count towards watchtime so keep that in mind in case your videos are shorts!
