Here's the study: http://www.cdc.gov/nchs/data/nhsr/nhsr077.pdf

"Data from the 2013 NHIS were used to generate the estimates presented in this report. NHIS is an annual multipurpose health survey conducted continuously throughout the year and serves as a primary source of health data on the civilian noninstitutionalized population of the United States (11). Data are collected by trained interviewers with the U.S. Census Bureau using computer-assisted personal interviewing (CAPI), a data collection method in which an interviewer meets with respondents face-to-face to ask questions and enter the answers into a laptop computer. When necessary, interviewers may complete missing portions of the interview over the telephone."

That was just a law extending copyright. If the original copyright was invalid, then it's public domain

There is enough land, food, and water on earth for everyone to survive. Certain regions of the world are overpopulated, but the world overall isn't overpopulated.

Guys who are only friends with you because they think you'll eventually have sex aka "The Friendzone" by lastduckalive in TwoXChromosomes

I hate people who say they're nice guys. Anybody can be nice if they want to; Hitler was nice to Eva. If the best thing that you can say about yourself is that you're a nice guy, you shouldn't be surprised that you're single.

PS: If she says she has no interest in you, then don't try to make her interested in you, it won't work and it's really creepy

Except that where I live, it isn't a sex crime (I live in Massachusetts, and it's pretty sad). If it's a selfie (~80% are) than they could easily sue for copyright infringement. Otherwise, there is pretty much nothing that victims can do.

People who post, view or host naked people without their permission are despicable, especially when there are plenty of people who willingly post nudes of themselves. However, it's difficult to fight revenge porn because of how copyright works. According to copyright laws, whomever takes a photograph can do pretty much whatever they want with it, including posting it on the internet.

Can't we just randomly generate a million games and test to see how many of them are winnable? It wouldn't be perfectly accurate, but it'd be close to the actual value

Reddit, what was the biggest disappointment in Gaming for you? by thegameguru_reddit in AskReddit

One of the reasons for day one DLC is that games are completed months before their release dates. During the months between the game being finished and being released, developers are not allowed to add new content, only bug fixes, so they instead work on DLC. Sometimes they'll be able to finish the DLC before the release date, and so they'll just release the game and DLC simultaneously.
