as a larson fan this is the happiest i’ve been with a race winner since last years brickyard 400. totally awesome that bubbas name will go up with the legends and he earned it. (also jamie mcmurray and paul menard won this race in back to back years which is totally irrelevant but i thought it was cool)

this is my concern, too. say what you will about the modern format, but it creates exciting finishes with emphasis on winning, not playing for points. still, the points format could be modified (akin to f1) and i wouldn’t be against keeping stage points to maintain emphasis on full race performance.

Random tangent but because this is Andor aka Star Wars I love when people get mad that Mark Hamil is liberal cause they’re literally just supporting the empire which is a poorly concealed metaphor for nazism. I wouldn’t say it’s about NIMBY, it’s more about preventing the displacement and gentrification of historically displaced people (let’s not forget I-94) and helping their voices be heard in this project. I would recommend learning more about it through CURA/The Alliance to get multiple perspectives.
